Numeracy Family Fun Day at Lagan Valley LeisurePlex

Families in Lisburn and Castlereagh are invited to an exciting, free Family Fun Day at Lagan Valley LeisurePlex on Saturday, 29^th March, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Hosted by Healthy Kidz in partnership with Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council Labour Market Partnership, this action-packed event will offer a fantastic mix of fun, fitness, and friendly competition, making it the perfect day out for children and parents alike.

With team challenges, interactive games, and fantastic prizes, families will have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities that promote physical activity and teamwork in a fun and inclusive setting.

Take on the Challenge Zone and Series of Darts Challenges!

• A key attraction of the day is the Challenge Zone, where families can test their physical, mental, and skill-based abilities through exciting challenges for a chance to win fantastic prizes. Timeslots are available from 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM, with limited spaces per hour.
• Teams must consist of at least one adult and 1-3 children, working together to complete entertaining yet challenging tasks. Ideally, at least one member of each team must be 16+ with no GCSE Maths or equivalent but this is not a requirement.
• Pre-registration is recommended to guarantee your spot, but walk-ins will be accommodated where possible.
• In addition to the Challenge Zone, is the Darts Challenge Zone where there will be even more cash prizes available.

Beyond the Challenge Zone, families can enjoy a variety of free-play activities throughout the afternoon, including:

All teams taking part in the Challenge Zone are asked to arrive 10 minutes before their allocated timeslot to ensure activities start on time. Walk-in slots may be available on the day, but pre-booking is advised to avoid disappointment.

This event is a fantastic opportunity to encourage children to stay active, enjoy a fun-filled day with family, and engage in exciting challenges that promote teamwork and physical well-being.
